Alstroemeria is the most cost-efficient stem in event design: each stem branches into four to six blooms, so a hundred-stem box yields the coverage of several hundred single flowers. That maths is why it appears in almost every DIY wedding budget that has to fill tables without filling the invoice.

It is also the longest-lasting flower we ship. Alstroemeria routinely holds two to three weeks in the vase, well beyond roses or lilies, which makes it the right choice for arrangements that need to survive a long weekend of events or sit in a retail display.

We carry white and orange as standing lines, with additional colours moving in and out by season. The speckled throat markings give texture at close range and read as solid colour from a distance, so it works equally well in bouquets and in large-scale table runs.

Strip the lower leaves before conditioning; alstroemeria foliage breaks down in water faster than the flower does and will shorten vase life if left submerged.
