Yellow is where equatorial sun shows most obviously. Twelve hours of consistent high-altitude daylight produces a clear, saturated yellow that does not read greenish or washed out, and because Ecuador's day length barely changes across the year, the tone holds in December as well as June.
New Yellow is the brightest and most true. Latina and Tara run slightly deeper and more golden. Brighton and Idole sit warmer, edging toward butter and amber, and Stardust and Sunny Days add variation in head size and opening habit.
Yellow roses work harder than their reputation suggests.
