Halloween is the one occasion where florists need colours that do not exist in nature, and absorption tinting is how we produce them. Dye is drawn up through the stem into the petal, so the colour sits inside the flower rather than sprayed on top — no flaking, no transfer onto hands or costumes, and no fading as the bloom opens.

The range covers true black roses, deep orange, and specialty finishes including spider web, skull, confetti and glitter patterns applied over the tint. Bloody Nina, Trick-or-Treat, Magic Spell and Bewitched each take a different treatment, from subtle to fully theatrical.

Underneath the colour these are premium Ecuadorian roses, so the large head, 40 to 70 cm stem and long vase life stay intact. That matters for retail: a black rose that collapses after three days is a refund, not a sale.

Halloween tinting runs to a fixed production window and sells out. Pre-book from August for October delivery, particularly for the patterned finishes, which are made in smaller batches.
