Football mums are the largest single bloom we ship — a dense, spherical chrysanthemum head that can approach the size of its namesake. One stem does the work of half a dozen roses, which makes them the most economical way to fill large-scale arrangements.

Their traditional use is homecoming mums and sports corsages, where the size is the point. Beyond that, event designers use them as focal blooms in tall pedestal arrangements, funeral and sympathy work, and any installation viewed from a distance where subtlety would be wasted.

They are extremely long-lasting, commonly two to three weeks in water, and the tightly packed petals resist bruising in transit better than open-form flowers.
