Lisianthus is the flower most often mistaken for a rose, and increasingly the one designers choose instead. The bloom has the same layered, ruffled form but sits on a branching stem carrying several buds at different stages, which gives an arrangement natural variation that a box of uniform roses cannot.
That branching habit also makes it economical: one stem contributes multiple heads plus buds, so it fills more space than the stem count suggests. It has become a staple of garden-style and romantic wedding work for exactly that reason.
The petals are soft and tissue-like, so handle gently, but the flower itself lasts well — commonly ten days to two weeks, with buds continuing to open across that period.
Order two to three days before the event. Minimum order is one box.
