Limonium

Wholesale limonium, cut to order on our Ecuadorian farms. Limonium is a filler that does two jobs at once: it softens the gaps between focal flowers, and it dries perfectly, so arrangements keep their shape long after the roses have gone over.

The airy, branching stems carry clouds of very small papery flowers. Used lightly, limonium adds movement without pulling attention; used heavily, it fills volume at a fraction of the cost of adding more roses. It is a standard component of DIY wedding boxes for exactly that reason.

We carry white Sinensis as the standing line. Because the flowers are papery rather than fleshy, limonium is forgiving of warm rooms and long setup days, and it will not wilt in the hand while you work.

It is also one of the easiest flowers to dry: hang stems upside down in a dark, dry space for a week or two and the colour holds. Couples increasingly keep dried limonium from their arrangements as a keepsake, which is worth mentioning to retail customers.
