Lavender is one of the few rose colours that occurs naturally in the mauve-purple range rather than being achieved by tinting, and the tone is genuinely difficult to grow well. Ecuadorian altitude helps: cooler nights hold the blue undertone that lower-altitude farms tend to lose to pink.

Cool Water is the standard — a deep lavender that opens into a large, star-shaped bloom with hints of mauve and pink through the petals. Deep Purple runs darker and more saturated. Ocean Song sits softer and greyer, closer to the dusty lavender used in muted palettes.

These roses do particular work in two very different settings: romantic, vintage-styled weddings where lavender softens a cream and white palette, and modern moody designs where it bridges burgundy and deep blue. They also pair unusually well with eryngium, whose natural blue picks up the same undertone.

Stems run 40 to 70 cm with vase life typically 16 to 18 days. Minimum order is one box. Order two to three days before the event so blooms open fully.
