Bells of Ireland is a green filler with an unusual form: a tall stem lined with clusters of bell-shaped calyces, each holding a tiny white flower at its centre. The effect is architectural rather than soft, and it is the reason designers reach for it when an arrangement needs vertical structure without adding another colour.
The clear apple-green tone sits between flower and foliage, which makes it useful in all-white and white-and-green palettes where standard greenery would look too dark. It is also a traditional St Patrick's Day and good-luck flower, so it carries seasonal demand in March.
Stems are sturdy and hold their shape well. They also dry successfully, keeping their form though fading toward straw.
Order two to three days before the event. Minimum order is one box.
