Flax is long, strap-like cut foliage in deep green and bronze tones. Its value is that it can be manipulated: designers loop, fold, weave and roll flax into shapes no other foliage will hold, which is why it appears throughout modern and architectural arrangement work.

Used straight, it provides vertical line and height. Bent or looped, it creates the sculptural curves that define contemporary design. It also lines vessels cleanly and conceals mechanics in tall arrangements.

Flax is extremely durable, tolerating heat, handling and long setup days without wilting, and holding for weeks once conditioned. It is one of the few greens that looks as good on day ten as on day one.
