Please Note
Your flowers will arrive looking thirsty and sleepy. This is completely normal. They are cut to order on our farms and travel without water, so they need rehydrating — the Flower Care tab on this page shows you exactly how.
Flowers are a natural product and no two stems are identical. Screen calibration varies as well, so the exact colour tones you receive may differ slightly from the photographs.
Availability and pricing follow the harvest, so package contents can change with weather and market conditions. If a substitution is ever needed we match your original choice as closely as we can, and never substitute down in value. We will always try to reach you first; where we cannot in time, we may proceed so that your order still ships on schedule.
Flower Care
Your flowers are shipped fresh, direct from our farms to your door. When you open the box they may look sleepy or thirsty — that is completely normal after an international journey without water. The steps below rehydrate them and get the longest possible vase life out of every stem.
How to unpack and condition your flowers
Unpack and inspect
Cut the straps and lift the flowers out of the box, but leave the protective sleeves on for the first 4 hours of hydration. Check the stems as you go.
Start the steps below straight away rather than leaving the box closed — the sooner the stems reach water, the better they recover.
Prepare the containers
Use clean, sanitised buckets or vases. Soap residue and bacteria are the most common cause of a short vase life.
Fill with at least 4 inches of cool fresh water and add flower food if you have it.
Trim and place in water
Strip any foliage that would sit below the waterline, then cut 1 to 2 inches off each stem at a sharp angle with clean shears.
Place the stems in water immediately, with enough room around each head to open.
Hydrate and maintain
After 4 hours remove the sleeves, strip any remaining low foliage, recut the stems and spread them across more containers.
Give them about 8 more hours to drink. Keep them somewhere cool and dark, away from heat, draughts, direct sun and ripening fruit.
Time to design
Recut the stems before arranging. Change the water daily and recut every 24 to 48 hours.
Warm rooms open blooms faster — useful if you need them fuller for an event, worth avoiding if you do not.
FAQ
A rose that carries several small blooms on a single stem rather than one large head. One stem typically gives three to five open heads, so you are buying blooms rather than stems.
Where you need many small blooms rather than a few large ones — buttonholes, bud vases, hair flowers, cake work, and filling gaps in large installations. A single spray stem can supply several buttonholes.
Per bloom, usually yes, because of the multiple heads per stem. Per stem they sit comparably, so the saving depends on what your design actually needs.
Choose your colour at order — the range covers pinks, whites, creams, yellows, lavenders, reds, oranges and bicolours.
Sold by the stem, cut to order on our Ecuadorian farms. Shipping is calculated at checkout, with UPS delivery in 3 to 5 business days across the US.
That is normal and expected. These stems are cut to order on our Ecuadorian farms and travel internationally without water, so they arrive dehydrated and often with tight, closed heads.
Follow the care steps above and they rehydrate and open over the next 12 to 24 hours. Judge the flowers after they have had a full day in water, not at the moment you open the box.
Shipping is charged by the box at checkout: $34 for a quarter box and $47 for a half box. Delivery is by UPS or FedEx in 3 to 5 business days anywhere in the continental US.
Choose a delivery date 2 to 3 days before the event. That gives the stems a full day to hydrate and open, plus a buffer day in case a carrier runs late.
For a Saturday wedding, aim for Wednesday delivery.

Purity, reverence and new beginnings — which is why white roses carry both weddings and sympathy work without feeling out of place in either.
In design terms they are also the tone that stops a saturated palette reading heavy, so florists order them alongside a dominant colour rather than on their own.
Gratitude, admiration and happiness. Deeper pinks lean toward appreciation and thanks, while pale pinks read as gentleness and grace.
Pink is the most-ordered wedding rose colour we ship, because it photographs softly under both daylight and warm venue lighting.
Love and deep romance — the most fixed meaning of any flower colour, and the reason red dominates Valentine's Day demand.
Darker, more burgundy reds shade toward devotion and commitment rather than new passion.
Enthusiasm, energy and desire — something between the friendship of yellow and the romance of red.
They are a staple of autumn and harvest work, where the warmth reads as seasonal rather than romantic.
