Pink ananas is an ornamental pineapple — a miniature pink fruit crowned with a spiky green tuft, on a firm straight stem. It is not a flower, and that is the point: it brings an unmistakably tropical, slightly playful element that nothing in the flower catalogue can replicate.

It is used in destination and tropical wedding work, hotel and restaurant installations, summer party styling and window displays, usually as a single focal element rather than in volume. One or two stems will carry an arrangement.

As a fruit rather than a bloom, it is extremely durable — holding for several weeks, tolerating heat, and needing no special conditioning beyond a clean cut and fresh water.
