Hot Explorer is the brightest pink we grow: a clean, saturated magenta with an extra-large head, bred by Interplant. It opens from a full bud into a wide, flat, star-shaped bloom with distinctively pointed petals, and it holds colour under artificial light where softer pinks wash out. Long stems are the other reason florists buy it.

How long are the stems? We grow Hot Explorer from 50 up to 90cm, which is unusually long for a pink, so it is the one to specify for tall pedestal work. Online we sell the 40 to 70cm grades; contact us for longer stems.
What is Hot Explorer used for? Bold event work, Valentine's and Mother's Day bouquets, quinceañeras and any brief that needs pink to read from across a room. It also mixes well with Freedom red and white Mondial for a classic three-colour box.
