Golden Dragonfly is our colour sport of Dragon Fly: the same very full, wide-opening garden-style bloom, grown in gold instead of coral. The heart is a deep golden yellow that pales through the layers to cream at the outer petals, with a soft reddish blush brushed along the outer edges that warms as the flower ages. With 75 to 80 petals the face opens far wider and flatter than a hybrid tea, so one stem covers the space of three.

How many petals does it have? 75 to 80, one of the highest counts we ship. That is what gives the full, ruffled, garden-rose face once it opens, and it is why the bloom needs warmth and room to open.
How long does it last? 14 to 16 days in the vase. Cut the stems on arrival, strip anything below the waterline and give them several hours in clean water with flower food before you design. Our rose care guide sets out the routine.
What is it used for? Autumn and champagne wedding palettes, garden-style centrepieces and any design that wants warmth without the brightness of a true yellow. Order it two to three days before the event so the bowls open fully.
